NNABI Releases First Nationally Representative Research Dedicated to Perimenopause
Women’s wellness company NNABI has released the first nationally representative study focused entirely on perimenopause, a hormonal life stage that can begin in a woman’s mid-30s and is often overlooked or misdiagnosed.
The Peri Power Report exposes a striking awareness gap. Although women reported an average of seven perimenopause-related symptoms such as exhaustion, anxiety, brain fog, and poor sleep, nearly 40 percent had never considered perimenopause as the cause. Instead, most attributed their symptoms to stress, mental health, or aging. Only one in ten had received a formal medical diagnosis.
The findings highlight how women continue to push through demanding years of career, caregiving, and family life without adequate guidance or support. NNABI co-founder Marina Pen notes that the report reveals a generation of women navigating this stage without a roadmap for their own wellbeing. The research signals a cultural shift, as women begin to redefine success during perimenopause by choosing joy, boundaries, and authenticity over endurance.
NNABI, a women-founded wellness company, is leading this movement with science-backed products and education designed to empower women through perimenopause. Its flagship supplement, Peri Essential 5™, is clinically tested to support energy, focus, mood, and sleep.
As co-founder EJ Kim explains, the report is both validation and a call to action for the healthcare system to center women’s midlife health with compassion and clarity.
